We are looking for a Civils Planner to become a key part of our growing team.

Main purposes of job

You will be responsible for inputting data across various systems, planning daily civils tasks and activities across numerous areas as well as liaising with supervisors, direct labour, contractors, clients, suppliers, team members and field staff daily.

Key Tasks

  • Responsible for inputting data, updating trackers & systems, ensuring all information is live & accurate. Consistently monitoring these systems, throughout each jobs life cycle.
  • Planning daily civils tasks & activities across multiple exchanges, ensuring each team has a sufficient workload daily.
  • Allocation of job packs to supervisors, direct labour teams & contractors.
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, team members & field staff daily, to ensure the smooth running of the project in-line with delivery plans.
  • Working with the internal street works & TM departments to ensure the smooth running of planned works. Ensuring any additional costs are minimal & working to decrease the number of FPNs & defects across the project.
  • Ensuring all engineer measures are logged within the correct timeframe & evidence of all works has been received.
  • Completing SPO evidence for PIA contracts, ensuring all supporting evidence is logged within the internal systems.

Desired Experience / Must Haves

  • At least 1 year experience within a planning role.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Be IT literate with competence in Microsoft Word, Excel & Teams.
  • A good communicator with a flexible & positive attitude.
  • The ability to prioritise & respond quickly to changes.
